We are passionate about clean and engaging design for websites, print, merchandise and social media.

Marker9Design specializes in small to medium size businesses, with a special emphasis on non-profit entities and retail travel firms. We work with a limited number of clients each month to ensure timely delivery, high communication and happy people.

Our websites are designed using the WordPress platform. We prefer it for it’s advanced marketing capabilities, ease of use, readily available training, and high degree of customization. Browse our portfolio and you’ll see that no two sites look alike, and our clients are able to maintain their sites themselves easily after launch.

We begin with the end in mind. All our projects are considered from the audience perspective – we ask, “who will see this and does it make them call, care or respond?” If the answer is no, then it’s not the right approach. Despite your status as a valued client, we’re not “yes” people. We’ll tell you when we think things aren’t working – and we’ll work hard with you to get them back on track.

Our Principal Designer and Project Manager is Chelle Honiker Yarbrough, a veteran website ninja and geek-in-heels. Chelle built her first website in 1995 and was the Director of Information Systems and Training for several large travel agencies nationwide prior to starting her own successful consulting and design firm in 1999.

As Project Manager, she works with a network of designers, programmers and marketing specialists around the USA, using tools like Skype Video Conferencing, Dropbox, Basecamp and others to maintain a fantastic, highly skilled virtual team.
